12th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The Greek Federation of International Tang Soo (Soo Bahk) Do Federation (GTSDF) will be the host country for the above championship. On behalf of our President, Master Tasos Metaxas, and the GTSDF, we cordially invite you and your team to participate in the said championship.

All teams (comprising of 2 officials and 7 competitors) would be hosted in Hotel Levadia (Papaspyrou Avenue 4, Katsoni Square, Levadia, Greece, tel : +30 22610 23611-16, http://www.levadia-hotel.gr/ ). Hotel capacity is 50 double/twin rooms.

Those teams that will bring more than 9 persons will have to finance their own board and lodgings. Also, those who intend to come earlier (before the 19 October) and/or stay longer after the championship i.e. after the 21 October 2007 would have to finance their own board and lodgings for the extra day(s). For all those the GTSDF have negotiated a special rate of €35 (€70/room) per person per night sharing in double/twin room including breakfast during the championship weekend.
For those individuals/team(s) wishing to stay longer in Athens rather than in Livadia, after the championship for sightseeing in Athens area, the GTSDF has negotiated with Golden Sun Hotel (72A Metaxa Avenue, Kritis Square, Glyfada, Athens, Greece, tel : +30 210 8981353-6, http://www.goldensun.gr/ ) for the following prices :Double Room : €70 (€35/person) including breakfastTriple Room : €95 (€32/person) including breakfast. TRANSFER
Transfers from Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos, http://www.aia.gr/EN/default.asp ) airport will be provided. Livadia is located 130 km NW from Athens. Please furnish me with your itinerary, i.e. date, flight number, name of airline and time of arrival as soon as you have booked your flight.
OFFICIALS/COMPETITORS
All affiliates of the ITSDF are eligible to field one team comprising of two officials and seven competitors of which at least one must be a lady member. All participants of the said championship must hold the rank of 1st to 3rd Dan black belt certified by the ITSDF, and must be 18 years old or above on the day of the championship.

DO BALK
All participants must wear the proper Tang Soo Do uniforms (do balk) during the duration of the championship weekend bearing the words “TANG SOO DO” at the back of their uniform. In addition to the words Tang Soo Do, the country’s name and Moo Duk Kwan may be display. All chief instructors of member nations are kindly requested to ensure that only approved International Tang Soo Do Federation patches are sewn on the uniform. All chief instructors are requested to check and endorse all the application forms and to ensure that all the details are correct. Any nation that wishes to bring more than 9 participants (maximum of 14 competitors in total) can do so at their own expense but will only be allowed to field 1 team for the team free fighting and 1 team for the team form (Hyung) competition. All completed application forms for competitors and officials must be fully completed, signed and return to the Secretary General, ITSDF before 20 August 2007 together with 3 passport sized photographs taken in Tang Soo Do Uniform.

HYUNG
All affiliates MUST display a different team Hyung from that display in the previous two World Championships. This is to encourage member nation teams to develop/advance in different Hyung. Only Tang Soo Do Hyung as listed in the ITSDF Handbook is permitted (or other TSD Hyung with written prior permission from the Grand Master) with a minimum of 5 including 1 lady competitor and maximum of 7 participants in each team. DISPLAY
Each nation is requested to put on a display of Tang Soo Do techniques by the masters and/or students of not more than 10 minutes duration on the day of the championship.

SOUVENIR PROGRAMME
All national teams are requested to forward a group photo in uniform taken in front of any distinguished landmark of their country/state for the souvenir programme. Please forward the requested photograph together with the completed application forms before the 1 May 2007.

REFEREE/JUDGE
Each nation are requested to nominate two referee/judge (4th Dan and above) to join the referee training session to be held on Friday (19/10/07) and they will be the official referee/judge for the said championship.

Again each nation is to nominate two recorder/timekeeper (1st Dan and above) to join the referee/recorder/timekeeper training session on Friday. Recorder/timekeepers are requested to wear the proper team Tang Soo Do (Do Balk) uniform.
